Anderson Teak provides a 2-year limited warranty to the original retail purchaser. Anderson Teak warrants that its teak outdoor furniture products will be free from manufacturing defects and issues related to workmanship, but does not include any small cracks in the end grain of wooden furniture. Anderson Teak will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts (excluding shipping costs to and from Anderson Teak or a repair center chosen by its customer service department). After one year from the date of purchase, the customer will be responsible for packaging the shipment and for all shipping and transportation costs. Plese note that this warranty is limited to only 1 year for outdoor furniture used commercially (rather than at a private residence).

While teak wood is naturally quite weatherproof and long-lasting, there are a few simple things you can do to extend your furniture's lifespan. First, clean the furniture periodically with a soft brush and mild soap solution to remove dirt and debris, then rinse thoroughly with water and allow it to dry. Teak naturally weathers to a silver-gray patina over time, but if you prefer to maintain its golden-brown color, you can apply a teak sealant, usually every 3-6 months (depending on exposure to the elements). To protect the wood from harsh weather, using a furniture cover or storing it in a sheltered area during the off-season is recommended. For deeper cleaning or restoration, consider using a teak cleaner and brightener to remove stains and restore the wood’s luster. Finally, avoid placing teak furniture in direct contact with moisture for extended periods, as this can cause warping or cracking. Regular care will help extend the life of your teak furniture, keeping it looking great for years.
